I wore them nearly every day from November to March, through blizzards, slush, and 2 feet of snow for most of the time. They were warm, comfortable, waterproof, and had good traction. They also look good--I'm a teacher, and sometimes wore them to school. Get them!

I have not tested the level of waterproof and have not tested them in big sbow, but I can imagine that they would work perfectly. They are tall enough to keep the snow out. The sole is bit stiff and thus they are not the most comfortable for lots of walking/hiking, but I hope they will wear in. So far for the price (with discount etc etc) , they look like perfect snow boots.

Way UnderratedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Soleil from New York, NY on Tuesday, February 12, 2013I also own a pair of Sorels, but purchased these because I needed more comfortable, lightweight, but just-as-warm boots for walking endlessly in the freezing temps in NYC when there wasn't necessarily tons of snow. They also had to be stylish for a NYer, of course! These exceeded my expectations on all fronts. These are also super comfortable, and I don't mean snowboot-comfortable, either. I mean as comfortable as your most comfortable sneakers that you could run around in for days on end. No break-in time requred. The price is unbeatable on this site. I prefer these to my Sorels. The only thing that I haven't tested is whether they're waterproof, and this is where Sorel may have an advantage. Otherwise, these are now my favorite winter boots, and I've already received compliments from others! The look fantastic with skinny jeans.
